lyrics

Pantomime

To set the scene,
times are hard for a king & queen
Both let down by the ones who'd been
Trusted to them, it's the frailty of men

And out to sea
Sails a prince and his company
Seeking treasure & destiny
Heading for land with a sword and a plan

And seconds, tick away
While mountains, stand tall in our way
We are, saviours, drifting astray
While the hero waits in line, it's all part of the pantomime

We reach act two
There's a princess so hard done to
How do we all feel bad for you?
Given all you ask for and left still wanting more

Try a day
Living life Cinderella's way
'Til our Prince comes and saves the day
Happy thereafter and sharing your laughter

And seconds, tick away
While mountains, stand tall in our way
We are, saviours, drifting astray
While the hero waits in line, it's all part of the pantomime

Society
Isn't so far detached for me
Spoilt children see poverty
Through giant tv's & on blue Ray DVDs

Wouldn't we
One day all like to look and see
Multi-cultural harmony
Where kindness wins applause and hard work reaps rewards

Seconds, tick away
While mountains, stand tall in our way
We are, saviours, drifting astray
While the hero waits in line, it's all part of the pantomime
